Happy Birthday, Petroleum.

About 8 years ago, in grade 9, I came up with a corny idea to be extra corny and paper-mache all the letters of my best friends first name for her birthday. Every year, I'd give her a new letter until her entire first name: Patricia, was completed. I got the idea from Art Attack. That guy used to paper-mache EVERYTHING.

That said, I gave Trish the letter 'P' in grade 9
and gave her the letter 'A' the following year.

Unfortunately, I'm the most stable procrastinator in the world and thus,
ended up finishing the sequential letters 6 years later (last week)
-- I'm a bad person, I know.

Anywho, I finished. Here's the process:

You're probably wondering what the hell these pictures are...
  • The 'T' is a sun. Represents our really awesome summers.
  • The 'R' is her pony tail, because she always wore a pony tail at school. She was - LITERALLY - known for her pony tail in my high school.
  • The 'I' is a black sweater with two pink stripes on the arms that Trish would never take off. I was with her when she bought it and she - LITERALLY - NEVER TOOK IT OFF. Not even when showering. It never came off.
  • The 'C' has the number 22 all over it. She's born on the 22nd and I finished all of the letters when she was 22 (ha...).
  • The 'I' has the letters "MOD" on it. MOD stands for Much On Demand. Trish and I were more than regulars on MOD -- in fact, we lived there. The floor directors knew us, no lies.
  • The 'A' has limes all over it (Trish thought they were oranges -- I suck as an artist, clearly). We have a habit on eating limes at the club. Even if we're not drinking, we're eating limes.
