It's all a process of development.

Moving on... it's one of the most challenging experiences any individual can go through.

Most commonly associated with the fluctual bonds of a romantic relationship, it can also be associated with loss, such as the loss of a job, or the loss of a loved one. It can be associated with achievement, for example, leaving the comfort of a post-secondary institution, hard earned (and slightly expensive) degree in hand, to venture boldly into the professional world. It can also be associated with one of the most basic processes in biology.

That process is growth.

There's something daunting about witnessing growth. It's safe to say that the majority of us are not fans of change; however, without change -- growth, the universe would be nothing but a infinite pile of nothingness.

Every living entity goes through this process of natural development; some slower than others, some with the capability to grow past their initial biological make-up, and some with the potential to grow on multiple levels...

The final product of your growth may differentiate you from other fish in the sea, or may allow you to enter into a prestigious sect.
The idea of growth, moving on from one stage of development to another, can be frightening and exciting; whether you're ready to witness this development, or you experience this change directly, it still happens.
At the end of the day, all you really can do is embrace the situation. Make the best of it. Manipulate the result to your best benefit.

If we are uncertain of anything in this mysterious universe, one thing we are certain of, is that we are here for growth. To witness and administer the growth of our bodies, minds, hearts, and if we're lucky enough, our souls.
