There are an infinite number of musical artists out there, all whom love and respect the beauty of melody. However, regardless of whether they're performing in their basements, or are performing on a stage to millions of people, there is a distinguished sect of artists that stand out from the rest. I distinguish these artists by how much they feel their music.
Don't get me wrong, anyone can pick up a guitar and play it -- anyone can, but who's to say that they'll feel it? In reference to guitar, it's artists like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and John Mayer that show this feeling -- it will, literally, look as though they're ready to fuck their guitars.
No joke, that is the feeling.
Now, this artist below, is one of my all time favorite artists. He's a fellow Toronto-nian and his name is Justin Nozuka.
If you don't know him, you should (ha).Every time I listen to him perform, I say "that boy's got soul" -- ALWAYS. I really do love this kid to death. I'm going to see him perform at the Phoenix in September, that will also be the day I die, again (I've seen him live before).
He's performing a song off his latest album, "You, I, Wind, Land & Sea," and it's good.
Have a listen.
