I HATE SCHOOL RANT

I fucking hate university institutions.

Making us think that we're "creating" our own personalized, professional futures when, in reality, all we're doing is settling into the melting pot of recycled economic bullshit.

It's a fucking lie. All of it. These are BUSINESSES, not schools. They just want us to THINK we're reaching towards the capitalistic "American dream." At the end of the day, you're just going to be another lawyer, engineer, journalist, accountant, or architect--if you're lucky. You're not achieving anything particularly significant. You're just a part of the system and the system needs your dumbass to function.

They're so smart that they've tricked us into thinking we have to pay well over $30,000 (in Ontario, at least) for a piece of shit-paper that says: "we, York University, took your fucking money you dumbass in exchange for this shit-paper" to get us a job that ISN'T a grocery clerk or retail sales associate (even though people with B.A.'s still end up in those positions!).

THEY'RE SO SMART that they've made sure EVERY SINGLE "QUALITY" JOB requires this $30,000 piece of paper to even be in the line of consideration for employment for a job opportunity you probably wouldn't get anyway!

While the owners of our economic system live freely on top of our heads, they occupy our brains with nonsense, making us THINK that we need this paper to function successfully within society! And at this point, we've created a world where the reality is just that.

One of my favourite quotes comes from one of my philosophical and scientific idols, Einstein. He once said,

"The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education."

I believe there are no truer words.

Another reason I don't want my kids on public transit.

Two brave and might I add, HEAVILY INTOXICATED, individuals having sexual intercourse on the Spadina station Platform at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon... nonetheless, they were charged and hospitalized.

...And this was AFTER they were caught having sex on one of the trains for 14 minutes.
